Pastor John Steen
Tuesday evening, it was our privilege to be with the wonderful people at the East Hill Baptist Church. It was a great encouragement for us to be with these people who love the Lord so much. We had the opportunity to talk with church members of all ages, who were interested in the school and where we were headed next. After the service, Pastor Steen took us out to eat with some of the young people of the church. It was great to get to know them better and hear about their upcoming mission trip to Honduras. We pray that the Lord will bless Pastor John "the Baptist," his wife, and their church family as they continue to faithfully serve Him in Kent.
On our way to Kent, we drove by Mount St. Helens. This volcanic mountain, which erupted in 1980, is an amazing site in the Washington landscape.
Washington looks lovely, see you needed your hoodies, think you will have lots of cool weather this summer. Beats the hot humid heat of east Tenn. Enjoy - we are praying for you
