Pastor Shawn Beliveau
Upon our first arrival in Canada, Pastor Beliveau and his wife gave us a warm welcome. We were able to be in their Sunday afternoon service, which met in a hotel. Everyone there was so friendly and excited to have us come all the way from Crown College. Most of them did not know much at all about Crown and were interested in our books and music.
After the service, we had lunch with the pastor and his wife as well as the teens in the church. We were able to visit with the teens and share testimonies with them of how God brought us to Crown and all the opportunities that are available through the school, as well as the Temple Baptist Church. The Pastor and his wife gave each of us a Vancouver t-shirt as well as a Canadian flag pin as a souvenier for our first church in Canada.
